Arrest Nnamdi Kanu Now - Northern Youths Protest In Abuja (photos )

Pressure is currently being mounted on the Nigerian government to sanction the immediate arrest of separatist leader, Nnamdi Kanu over his pursuance of the Biafra cause. 

Some youths under the aegis of the Arewa Youth Assembly have advocated for the arrest of the leader of the Independent People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu by some northern youths.

They called on Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to initiate the arrest of Kanu who has been accused of threatening the security of Nigeria.

According to them, the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. They also said IPOB leader is undermining the sovereignty of Nigeria and should be arrested immediately. The 'respect' accorded the protesters as by the police against their 'Resume or Resign' counterparts against ailing President Muhammadu Buhari has been criticized.

Nigeria has been divided in recent times along primordial lines.
